IntelliSurvey, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a JavaScript Developer to join our team. You must be a self-starter and problem solver who is able to thrive in a fast paced team and/or individual environment with a variety of creative challenges. This is an opportunity to be part of great, diversified team with growth potential.

This position involves using JavaScript to write scripts to test our core software. You’ll be using Bryntum Siesta to facilitate writing the tests. We have built a culture of pursuit of passion, skill mastery, team bonding, and people development, not deadline-driven pressure. Our engineering team is second to none as we have exceptionally high hiring standards. You will get to learn from top experts in the field as we push our JavaScript apps to the browser limit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and develop automated test scripts using JavaScript for purpose of testing our web-based software applications.
  • Work with DevOps to integrate these tests with our Continuous Integration processes.

  • Design and Execute test plans and suites against our software on a regular and as-needed basis.
  • Partially responsible for quality assurance of our software in general and especially during releases.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively manage time, organize multiple projects, and understand directives.
  • Collaborate with team members to evaluate, troubleshoot the software repeatedly in search of bugs and errors. Report findings to the development team.
  • Help define standards for testing, and after gaining experience, lead others in the development of test plans.

Requirements:

  • Two to Five years of JavaScript programming experience (an assessment is part of the interview process).
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player who works well with others
  • Attention to detail, with a passion for software quality and test automation.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with technologies used to run automated tests, such as Selenium
  • Understanding of different types of test methodologies
